• Sam Bankman-Fried considered paying former President Trump $5B to not run for president according to author Michael Lewis in his new book.

• Paradigm files Amicus Brief in SEC's case against Binance. Paradigm states the SEC is attempting to use allegations to alter the law without adhering to the established rulemaking process. Paradigm also points out shortcomings of the SEC’s application of the Howey test.

• The SEC files lawsuit against Prager Metis, an accounting firm; for hundreds of auditor independence violations. Prager Metis previously audited both FTX and FTX US in 2021.  

• Grayscale files to convert their $5B Grayscale Ethereum Trust $ETHE into a Spot Ethereum ETF.

• VanEck, an asset manager; will donate 10% of $EFUT (VanEck Ethereum Strategy ETF) profits to Protocol Guild for at least 10 years. Protocol Guild is a collective of 152 Ethereum core protocol contributors.

• Coinbase receives a Major Payments Institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. This license will enable Coinbase to expand its provision of Digital Payment Token services to both individuals and institutions in Singapore.

• BlockFi creditors approve its bankruptcy restructuring plan. Now, a bankruptcy court must approve the plan to finalize it.

• Vitalik Buterin publishes, "Should Ethereum be okay with enshrining more things in the protocol?" The post discusses Ethereum staking changes to decrease centralization, tradeoffs of adding certain protocols to Ethereum’s base layer versus building them on top of Ethereum, and more.

• UBS, an asset manager; launches first blockchain-native tokenized VCC fund pilot on Ethereum. The pilot will allow UBS to test various fund activities on Ethereum.

• AltLayer, a decentralized interlayer for rollups; will support Connext Network bridged tokens, xERC20.

• Chainlink announces more projects integrating Chainlink CCIP.
