Strategy $MSTR Faces Lawsuit

Strategy Sued Over Bitcoin Losses
Lawsuit Targets Strategy: On May 16, 2025, a class action lawsuit was filed against Strategy and Michael Saylor in the US District Court, Eastern District. It alleges they violated securities laws by misleading investors about Bitcoin strategy profitability. An investor claims Strategy overstated returns before a $5.9B Q1 2025 loss. The suit says Saylor’s public statements, like “Bitcoin is a bank in cyberspace,” misled investors about risks.
Alleged Misleading Statements: The lawsuit details Strategy’s Bitcoin purchases, including 528,185 BTC at $67,458 each, totaling $35.6B. Despite a $5.9B loss, Strategy bought 7,390 BTC for $765M at $103,500 per BTC in May 2025. The suit claims executives hid volatility risks, causing investor losses. “Strategy’s disclosures were inadequate,” the plaintiff argues, citing overstated profits. Investors seek damages for losses tied to these claims.
Investors Can Join: Strategy faces scrutiny as the lawsuit seeks compensation for affected investors. Despite the suit, the firm plans to raise more for Bitcoin buys. Investors who lost money are urged to join the class action. “Contact a lawyer to participate,” the filing advises. The case continues as Strategy bought an additional 7,390 Bitcoin $BTC for ~$764.9M. Read More.

⛺️ Camp: Autonomous IP Layer 1 Blockchain. | ![]() |
⛺️ What is Camp: Camp is a Layer-1 blockchain for IP and AI. Its Proof of Provenance Protocol lets creators tokenize IP—music, code, or data—with verifiable ownership and royalties. Users can deploy AI agents to create and monetize IP in a trustless system. With gasless registration and $30M from 1kx, Blockchain Capital, and others, Camp empowers creators to own their work.
⁉️ Why Does Camp Exist: AI models often scrape content without crediting creators, eroding ownership. Camp fixes this with on-chain IP protection. Its Origin Framework registers IP with programmable licensing, and mAItrix powers AI agents trained on user-owned IP. With 250+ teams building on Camp, it ensures creators control and monetize their work in an AI-driven world.
